Heret-Kau
Heret-Kau is a little-known
goddess whose name means 'she who is over the spirits',
Heret-Kau seems to have been associated with the afterlife,
but her exact nature and roles are uncertain. She was
invoked in the foundation rituals of certain Lower Egyptian
temples along with Neith and Isis, and a priest of the
goddess is attested in Old Kingdom times, though little more
is known of her cult.
