Panebtawy
Divine
child of Haroesris (see Horus) and his consort
Hathor-ta-senet-nefret at Kom Ombo, Panebtawy, whose name
means 'the lord of the Two Lands', personified the pharaoh
as the divine son of Horus the Elder and thus the rightful
heir to the kingdom of ancient Egypt. He was depicted as a
young man with the sidelock of youth and with his finger
placed at this mouth.
